The Foundation

The Eileen S. Kaminsky Family Foundation (ESKFF) was founded in 2009 as an alternative channel through which the exhibiting of works from private contemporary art collections and the presentation of enriching programs for the community may be organized and executed.

Inspired by her own experience as a collector, Eileen S. Kaminsky set out to create the foundation as a way to connect artists, collectors, galleries and cultural institutions. The ESKFF is a collaborative effort that facilitates the exchange of ideas and expressions.

The ESKFF is a non-profit foundation dedicated to the development of exhibitions and programs that enrich our understanding of contemporary art. With the support of an international network of artists, collectors, curators and writers the foundation has established itself as an innovative showcase for contemporary art with a commitment to bridging the gaps within the arts community. In addition, the ESKFF sees the need to show private collections, rather than individual artists, which have long been hidden from the public.

The ESKFF relies on charitable donations to help realize its next phase of planning:

- Providing young artists, as well as mid-career artists in need of assistance, with studio space at Mana Contemporary.

- The Foundation also needs support to provide ongoing Community Art Education and Children’s Programming. Now that schools have fewer resources than ever for the arts, the Foundation believes education is its number one mission.

- Providing Community Outreach to artists in Jersey City. The Jersey City art community, the third largest in the Tri-State Area after Manhattan and Brooklyn, has long been overlooked by the contemporary art world.

The ESKFF is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and your pledge will be tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.

We are pleased to announce that Mana Art Center is now the new home of the ESKFF collection and selected works are currently on exhibition. In pursuing breakthrough technological innovations as well as having a progressive approach and a passion for the arts Mana Contemporary is the forerunning art collection management firm in the Tri-state area.
