Lili Almog
Israeli-born photographer Lili Almog (b. 1961, Tel Aviv) is renowned for her intimate spiritual portraits of women cultural identities around the world. Lili moved to New York in the mid 80’s and began her career as a photojournalist for several international news publications focusing primarily on fashion and portraiture with artistic focus on creating representations of the feminine body and psyche. More recently her work is focusing on environmental portraiture an experimental direction which portray social behavior by engagement with landscape.

Kirti Bansal
Kirti Bansal is an Indian artist based in Jersey City. The results of her upbringing have influenced her perception to believe that there are no accomplishments if there are no “mistakes” or “accidents”. She emphasizes process and development of her ideas rather than the product. She empties her mind of conventional methods of drawing and lets her hands and eyes control her. Together, they create harmony, like yin and yang. The work responds to surrounding environments by fracturing them into a convolution of expressive matter. There is a stress on aesthetics with her frugal hit and miss indications of bold color. Kirti’s focus is to frame instances that would go unnoticed in their original context. With a conceptual approach, she creates intense personal moments by means of rules and errors, acceptance and refusal, luring the viewer round and round in circles. She is currently an aspiring designer pursuing her education of Graphic Design at Montclair State University in Montclair, NJ.

Taleen Berberian
Born in Pasadena, California to Armenian parents of Middle Eastern descent, traditions of craftsmanship were a birthright. My work is created in homage to a maternal legacy as a motherless daughter. My mother, Anahid, and paternal Grandmother Baydzar, and I shared love of craft. A couture dressmaker in Lebanon, Anahid drew designs, and impeccably created patterns and garments, adhering to traditions of couture dressmaking. Baydzar, a widow Aleppo, Syria, with 5 children, supported them with her craft of making extraordinary crocheted lace as a masterful artisan. These women’s’ influence through their love of their respective crafts’ is an eternal source of inspiration. Narrative elements of form and content throughout my artistic oeuvre expose these and other issues of maternity with irony with whimsy, also referencing fashion and surrealism of the mid 20th century.

Cecilia Collantes
Cecilia Collantes is a Peruvian visual and performance artist. Through her work, she discusses and emphasizes selected signs and symbols from social media and
fashion, that pertain to the subject of social change and self presentation, appropriating and representing contemporary social visual codes that influence the individual, its behavior, thoughts and identity.
Her performance work often refers to ceremonial practices linked to memories of her home country in Perú, Archaeology and ambivalence, assumption and reinterpretation of evidences of the past for the reconstruction history.

Niels Corfitzen
(1980) There is no doubt that Niels Corfitzens' paintings are the results of daily observations of life and the events that follow. In this process it is not unusual that there is a filtration taking place – that creates the artist’s identity in the universe that represents the diversity of visual arts. His paintings balances between an ambitious classical idiom and mantras from a modern culture, which thematizes the contemporary and civilized man's life and problems, often set in the prospect of a decaying world. With its unnatural environments and colorful galleries of personalities, the artist creates a state of mind and an underlying concern in relation to our traditional conception of the classic oil painting.
On the surface the paintings appear as small stills or scenes from a self-obsessed and ruined youth, who fight for the audience attention. A game with light and contrasts creates a concentrated presence and draw references back to the great masters such as Edward Hopper, PS Krøyer and Herman Vedel. The paintings are created in many layers that allow the artist to have a dialogue with the work as it unfolds, which causes the process to appear naked to the observer. This method seems to create a pixellated and technological expression.
Niels Corfitzen grew up in Sweden surrounded by the country’s splendid nature. He has also lived several years in England, but today he has his base in Copenhagen Denmark. This clash of nature and culture is often depicted in his works.
Niels has received schooling in arts throughout his youth, as the artist trade runs in the family line, but apart from that he is an autodidact artist. His works has been exhibited in museums throughout Scandinavia and is represented by several galleries in northern Europe.
He has also received much recognition for the many commissioned portraits he has on his CV, including the award-winning portrait of the deceased politician Svend Auken from 2009, which was used as cover for his autobiography.

Jan Davidoff
Jan Davidoff was born 1976, in Norden and reached his diploma in painting with Prof. Günther Förg at the Akademie der Bildenden Künste, München in 2009. He lives and works in Munich.
Jan Davidoff’s works are to be positioned on a level between concreteness and abstraction, on which real life scenes are confronted with a deeper meaning. Marylyn Dintenfass
Marylyn Dintenfass was born in 1943 in Brooklyn, New York and spent most of her early years in Brooklyn and then Long Island. She attended Queens College, and graduated in 1965 with a Bachelors Degree in Fine Arts.
Dintenfass explored new media and developed her own reaction to abstract expressionism with color, line, and gesture. Dintenfass acquired an appreciation for a broad range of materials that led to major sculpture installations composed of ceramic materials, steel, lead, wood, wax and a variety of pigments and epoxies. Dintenfass often works with oil paint on wooden panels fragmented into parts of a grid. The artist's abstract imagery usually appears in her work as various forms of stripes or circles arranged across translucent layers of alternating matte and high gloss textures. Dintenfass' themes explore the dualities of everyday pleasures; depending on the focus of a series, her symbols might conjure characters, candies, car wheels, or paint itself.

Michelle Doll
Michelle Doll’s paintings capture quiet, intimate moments hinged on

Flesh on flesh... fabric on flesh... our body’s connection with nature... our private contact with moments of time and objects of space... these are the tactile experiences of my artwork. Centered on the human figure, I attempt to portray the unspoken, soundless and intimate nature of a soul’s connection to the material world. I am interested in moments of interconnection that contain meaning beyond the setting, and explore the intimate energy that either exists, or is immensely desired, if it does not exist.
The power of love and desire for connection can be found in a simple touch, a fragile unity, or a fleeting moment. Hidden portions of contact hold meaning... the creases, crevices, overlaps, and folds. My intent is to find inspiration and appreciation in seemingly banal, quiet moments and render them monumental.
Through my paintings, I wish to preserve and record the interconnections in my own life, and my personal touch on the world around me. I create the work as meditations for others, who have experienced and desired intimacy in subtle ways, and like me, possibly searched for a further understanding of unity, beauty and love.

Born and raised in Norway, Rune Egenes earned both his undergraduate and graduate degrees in Photography at the Film and TV Academy of the Performing Arts in Prague. Betty Cristine Fog
Betty Christine Fog attended Kolding School of Design in 1973. For many years, she worked independently within fashion and design, with projects for several firms in her native Denmark, and abroad. Fog has been employed as Chief Designer for Hjertegarn, and has worked as Stylist both in Denmark and internationally. For ten years, she worked for the acclaimed weekly fashion magazine Femina. Michael Gitlin
Michael Gitlin, Israeli American artist, was born in South Africa and grew up in Israel. He received his BA in English and Art History from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem and simultaneously studied at the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design (BFA). He received an MFA from Pratt Institute in 1972.
Gitlin has been living and working in New York since 1970.
Gitlin's work can be characterized as abstract and reductive. He began working three-dimensionally, first with paper and later with wood, using paper as a medium rather than a support. His sculptures are mostly wall pieces, which depend on architecture for their physical and contextual support.
Gitlin's one-person museum shows have included: the Israel Museum, Jerusalem (1977); the ICC Antwerp (1980); Exit Art, New York (1985); Kunstraum Munchen (1986); Bonn Kunstverein (1988); Kunsthalle Mannheim (1989); Carnegie Mellon Art Gallery (1989); Museum van Hedendaagse Kunst Antwerpen (1991). His works are in major collections such as the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam, the Gugghenheim Museum in New York, the Hirshhorn in Washington DC, the Ludwig Museum in Cologne and the Lenbachhaus in Munich, among others. Gitlin participated in Documenta 6 in Kassel, Germany.

He is currently a senior creative director at yehoshua/tbwa Israel. One of the big-4 advertising agencies in israel. He has won prizes in Israel and in major cosmopolitan capitals around the world. In 2009, the advertising messages, the typography, the colors, the layout, the richness of information, and the unstoppable movement of New York city.

i put all the love that i have to the pop art movement in my art work and make it happy joyful art i take visuals that nobody look at while in the street, and make a beauty pieces that everybody want to look at I'm a kind of visual icon hunter that arrange the urbanic view and landscape in new order.
All of the photos that i use in my art are taken by me in New York city and they are the basic materials of the artworks. The photos are printed directly on small pieces of wood in the shapes of squares and rectangles. These individual pieces are modern icons that are than glued in a collage form onto a large slab of wood. Each piece has his own unique concept and message. The artwork is all made by hand.

Angela Gram
Angela Gram is a painter, writer, and educator living and working in New Jersey. She received a MFA from the New York Academy of Art and a BFA from Rhode Island School of Design. Angela has been accepted as an artist in residence by the Terra Foundation for American Art in Giverny France and by the Eileen S. Kaminsky Family Foundation at Mana Contemporary in NJ. Morten Gran
Motorized vehicles, like cars, choppers, airplanes etc, are central objects in Morten Gram’s work. He spends a lot of time the car- and chopper environments when working. He has participated several times in the Norwegian National Autumn Exhibition and The Østland Exhibition, as well as in a number of Art Centers and private galleries. He’s the recipient of numerous scholarships. In his latest series of works, he examines cars and choppers in the garages where they are constructed.

Richard Jacobs
Richard Jacobs received a BA from the Cooper Union in 1984, and a MFA from Yale University in 1987. He was nominated by Yale for a Henry Luce Scholarship, which he was awarded to paint and teach in Bali, Indonesia. Jacobs showed at the Howard Yezerski Gallery in Boston during the 1990's and is represented in many private and public collections including the Boston Museum of Fine Arts, the DeCordova, and the Rose Art Museum. His show "A Decade of Balinese Influence", was curated by Dore Ashton. In September 2014, Jacobs had a successful solo exibition titled "Soul Delay" at Jack Geary Gallery in NY.
"My abstract art explores organic invention, with faith in alchemy and an adventurous concept of time. Elements of the past, present and future separate, blend and interchange until they make sense in a way that the work dictates. Marie Kristiansen
Marie Kristiansen is a Photographer and Film Director with a Fine Arts degree from Central St Martins in London. She lives and works in Oslo and Los Angeles. Marie has had three solo exhibitions in Oslo, all focusing on female sexuality and the portrayal of women in popular culture.

My works on paper are psychological, narrative and figurative. Figures appear isolated against the white of the paper, drawn with delicacy. My characters explore the fluidity of identity—sexual, cultural, personal and political—and the ambiguity in relationships with one another.
Paper suits my temperament. I work quickly, allowing a flow of ideas to move through me. My inspirations come from travel, observation, the radio, films and books—in short, everything. Motifs reoccur in my work, but each time with different associations and references. And, within a single work, the concepts are often layered to yield multiple readings rather than one narrative. I am in interested in the nuances of meaning.

Eugene Lemay
Eugene Lemay (American, b. 1960) is best known for his series Strata, Letters, and Navigator of large inkjet prints of rich landscapes, which expose the root of
written language as a metaphor for the human need to communicate. Appearing out of linguistic order, the words are expropriated from their original context and become artistic notes, signs, shapes, and finally abstract images. Lemay, a Michigan native and ninth of 15 children from a French Canadian father and Lebanese Syrian mother, spent his teenage years at the Sarid Kibbutz in Israel and served in the Israeli army. In Lemay’s early works, he abstracts a series of letters to bereaved parents of fallen soldiers with whom he served. The letters were written – but never sent.
Lemay is founder and director of Mana Contemporary, and has built several other businesses in the past 20 years. Lemay was named to Art & Auction magazine's Power 100 list. He has exhibited in solo shows at Mike Weiss Gallery in Chelsea, Total Arts Gallery in Dubai and Galeria De Art in Buenos Aires as well as a group show at Art Affairs Gallery in Amsterdam and others. He sits on the board of the Umm-el Fahem Gallery in Israel, and is represented by Mike Weiss Gallery in Chelsea.
The irony of this impressive career trajectory is that Lemay had no initial interest in art, and certainly no thought of becoming an artist, until 1993, when he visited a Robert Ryman retrospective at the Museum of Modern Art in New York. The 80 paintings on view, produced over nearly 40 years, filled Lemay with wonder. Here was a sustained and seemingly inexhaustible exploration of abstract white-on-white composition. The work, at once giving and reserved, struck a psychological chord; within days, Lemay began his own artistic experiments. But, for this thoughtful ex-soldier, the notes that resonated were not in Ryman’s bright major key but in a dark minor that evoked Lemay’s long-suppressed battlefield traumas.

Eric Mavko
Eric Mavko has been living and painting in Brooklyn for the last 10 years. Kathleen McIntyre
Kathleen McIntyre is born in California (1962), raised in Gjøvik, Norway, lives and works in Oslo. She is autodidact, and has worked for the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation. She has attended workshops with several internationally prominent photographers, including Joyce Tenneson, Arno Raphael Minkkinen and Jeff Cowen. The mentor for her first project “Second Shadow” was renowned Norwegian Photographer Morten Krogvold. He comments on her work: “Many photographers are concerned with technique. Kathleen takes photos with her heart. It’s like poetry.”
McIntyre has been represented in Gallery Ramfjord since 2008. She works with analogue, digital, black/white and color photography. Kathleen captures images through an indirect approach, mirroring timeless and dreamlike images, giving the real world a new layer. Her last exhibition called “SurFace” is all color images printed on plexi toemphasize the mirroring. “What you see, is what I saw” says the photographer, who does not manipulate her photos after they are taken.

Sander Meisner
Sander Meisner is a self-taught photographer born 1979, living and working in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
‘I work with themes and ideas dealing with public space, abstraction, transformation, the passing of time, change, utopia/dystopia, function and transition. In geometric, almost abstract shapes and lines, I photograph the usually overlooked corners of the buildings in our cities. I look for these compositions at night, when the sun is gone and the artificial light of the night creates colors and shapes, which cannot be seen with the naked eye. When I photograph these grim and grey places and expose the photographic film with extremely long exposures, the night turns out to be both very colourful and beautiful. I use the colors, shapes and lines of the night to make semi-abstract images that are influenced by Rothko and Neo-Plasticism at the same time.’

Matthias Meyer
Matthias Meyer was born in Göttingen, Germany in 1969. He studied art at the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf with Gerhard Richter and was named "student of honor" (Meisterschüler) in Richter’s last master class in 1994. Meyer was also a guest student in 1994 at London’s Chelsea College of Art, and in the same year received the distinguished Max Ernst Award of the City of Brühl. In 1995, he was the German laureate of the European Art Competition of the Schweizer Bankverein in London. Matthias Meyer currently lives and works in Germany.
Meyer’s water paintings, cityscapes, forests, substructures and superstructures, the leitmotifs drawn both from the world of nature and the world of urban civilization, appear in the framework of this exhibition. Despite working from photographs and using small acrylic sketches to jog the memory, Meyer paints each painting from scratch in an extemporizing style. ‘It’s a risk factor’, he concedes, explaining how he in fact makes the painting ‘abstract from back to front so that the moment a detail becomes recognizable, I immediately put a stop to the process’. The almost trancelike state in which they are painted is instantly apparent in the paintings themselves. Although the artist alludes to the historical antagonism between abstraction and figuration with great virtuosity, his painting retains an openness which today’s viewers, with their very personal, sharply diversified ways of perceiving, find appealing. Poised between the vague and the concrete, Meyer defines our retinal impressions as phantasms played out on the periphery beyond which gravity has no purchase. Meyer’s approach is not to literally depict these elements, but to transform them, interweaving images into rich, magical, dreamlike environments filled with the perception of water, light and color.

Stephan Muis was born in Amsterdam 1967. He was educated at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy and The University of Amsterdam (Museum Management).
Stephan Muis creates objects around themes that intrigue him. The main theme is "loss of innocence". He tries to explore the "ways of the world" and why a child loses the pure innocence it possesses at birth. Other themes are: our fascination with Death (coming from our fear of death). Our drift from (Biblical) values and Ethics. My work is conceptual. Most of the time I need the help of professionals to create the work. That’s why I call my work “cooperative art”. Major themes in my work are our loss of innocence and our fear of death.

Pia MYrvoLD
MYrvoLD is born in Norway, and has lived in Paris and New York since 1992. Since the early 80s, Pia MYrvoLD has worked within a wide field of techniques, developing and combining different mediums: painting, sound, video, infrastructural design, living art and urbanism, and new technology. MYrvoLD's hybrid research within visual media has given the art and design world new and unique concepts, including CyberCouture, clothes as publishing, multi-surface works, female interfaces, and projects in the border area between virtual and real spaces; with interactive art as a recurring element. MYrvoLD - who started out as a painter - has also continued with traditional media, and continuously produces new series of paintings, graphics, sculptures and videos, where her visual narrative refers to technology, DNA coding, sensory based objects and interfaces, where the dialectics between the object and the space suggests guidelines and new codes for how society can use and develop new sensuality. MYrvoLD's career started at age 20, debuting at Vestlandsutstilingen and the Norwegian National Autumn Exhibition. Since then, she has had numerous important assignments and museum exhibitions in Norway, and taken part at international exhibitions in Paris, New York, Los Angeles, Venice, London and Berlin. MYrvoLD is purchased by the largest public collections in Norway, including the National Gallery.

Aleksandra Niemczyk
Aleksandra Niemczyk holds a Master of Art from the European Academy of Art in Warsaw. Through her studies and her work at The Experimantal Litography Studie in Warsaw, she represents a new generation of young Polish artists working within lithography and oil painting. She constantly develops her visual vocabulary – illustrated by a recent study at the New York Film Academy. Niemczyk uses traditional techniques within oil painting, print and short films. She is a member of The Association of Norwegian Printmakers, and The Association of Norwegian Painters. She received a scholarship from the Ministry of Culture in 2004 and from Billedkunstnernes Vederlagsfond in 2005. She has had a number of solo exhibitions in Norway and Polen, and was nominated for the Carnagie Art Award in 2006.

Hermann Nitsch
Hermann Nitsch (Austrian, b.1938) is a painter, performance artist, writer, and composer, and one of the four members of the Viennese Actionist (or Wiener Aktionismus) movement. Nitsch began as a graphic artist after studying graphic design in Vienna, but turned to painting in the 1950s under the influence of Tachism and Abstract Expressionism. He was inspired by the works of Paul Cézanne (French, 1939–1906) and Gustav Klimt (Austrian, 1862–1918), among others.
In 1957, Nitsch came up with the idea for his Orgien Mysterien Theater, a long festival that was inspired by psychological studies and Dionysian orgies, among other influences, with works that involve all five senses. His performances involved, and still involve, the appearance of pagan ceremony, with robed processions, people drinking blood, animal sacrifices, and more. Most of his works—many of them in oil and acrylic—come from what remained after his performances ended. Some of his important paintings include Aktion Painting - Fresco (1981), The Last Supper (1976–1979), and a series of splatter paintings. His performances took place in Vienna at first and resulted in three jail terms. In 1960, he moved to Germany, where he remained until 1978.

James Perkins
James Perkins (b. 1978, Little Rock, AR) received a BA from Yale University and a Masters from SVA School of Visual Arts. The artist lives and works in New York City. He has exhibited work with Ace Gallery, The Eileen Kaminsky Foundation at MANA Contemporary, and Dallas Contemporary’s MTV RE: DEFINE. He has lectured at the University of Wisconsin.
Using materials from his time spent on Wall Street, Perkins examines the viewer’s perception of value and emotion. Many of the artworks are facially accessible to viewers; however, this intentional surface accessibility is devised to draw the viewer into a more confrontational engagement through minimal gestures that challenges their own value judgments as the artist was forced to in the making of the works. This is perhaps most exemplified in One Percent, an artwork comprised of 99 counterfeit Rolex watches, and one genuine Rolex anonymously interspersed within the milieu.

Osvaldo Romberg
Osvaldo Romberg was born and raised in Argentina. He now lives and works in New York, Philadelphia, Tel-Aviv and Ilha Grande, Brazil. He attended the Colegio Nacional de Buenos Aires 1950-55, and the University of Buenos Aires, Facultad de Arquitectura 1956-62. Over the past five decades and on five continents, Romberg has produced a consistently goading body of work that tackles questions of analysis, interpretation and representation of art and art history.
In the early 1970s, as a painter and conceptual artist, he began using a grid to analyze the tone and saturation of various colors. Romberg's deconstruction of both individual hues and those of famous historical paintings investigate the political and social conventions of looking and seeing. The works on paper from this period are infused with Romberg's interest in art history, philosophy, linguistics, and informational systems.
He is also a full time professor at the Ben-Gurion University of the Negev in Israel, where he a founded a center for experimental cinema, video and media art. He has exhibited widely as an artist at institutions including the Kunsthistorisches Museum, Vienna; Kunstmuseum, Bonn; Ludwig Museum, Cologne; Sudo Museum, Tokyo; The Israel Museum, Jerusalem; The Jewish Museum, New York; the XLI Venice Biennial, Israel Pavilion; The Philadelphia Museum of Art; the Museum of Modern Art, Buenos Aires; and the Van Abbemuseum, Eindhoven. One of the founders of Slought, Romberg is currently Senior Curator for Artist Projects.

Gabriel Schmitz
Gabriel Schmitz is a European painter, born in Germany, trained in Scotland and living in Barcelona, Spain since 1995. The human figure is the central theme of his work. As he understands it, the body represents a potent means of expression. Given this, he draws his inspiration from a variety of fields: contemporary dance, cinematographic imagery, or travel, both real and imaginative, always attracted by the “other”, the “not-yet-known”, trying to come to an understanding of it through painting. Born in New York and living in Jersey City, I have spent most of my life creating art. I received a BFA from Kansas City Art Institute where my major was photography.
I am currently working in several mediums, including installation art using recycled materials, photography, and jewelry making.
Over the last five years my work has been involved with the exploration of gender and the psychological restrictions imposed (whether outwardly or subconsciously) upon women to conform to certain ideals. In my current series titled Voids II, I use nineteenth
century tintypes as a vehicle to construct and define this visual language.

Matt Siber
Born in Chicago in 1972, Matt Siber grew up next to Boston in Brookline, MA. With a Bachelor’s degree in History and Geography from the University of Vermont in 1994, he received an MFA in Photography from Columbia College Chicago in 2003.
He has worked as a freelance commercial photographer for a wide range of clients, but is now primarily a gallery artist working in photography, digital imaging, video, sculpture, and installation. His artwork is part of the permanent collections of the Art Institute of Chicago and the Museum of Contemporary Photography and is represented by Galeria Antoni Pinyol in Reus, Spain, and Galerie f 5.6 in Munich. His images have been published internationally in such publications as ArtForum, Flash Art, Aperture and EXIT Magazine and he has received grants from the Aaron Siskind Foundation and the Illinois Arts Council. Matt also teaches beginning and advanced digital imaging at Columbia College Chicago and The School of the Art Institute of Chicago.

Leonardo Silaghi
Silaghi’s paintings are intuitive and gestural with a narrative of ruin - of entropy, of decay, of decomposition. Within his grey abstractions one can glimpse broken conveyor belts, washing machines, crumbling cyclotrons, and sections of airplanes. The near-emblematic Silaghi grey serves as a constant reminder of the previously heavily industrialized economy in Silaghi’s home country - Romania - but it also implies a transformative process as it is mixed from black and white. Silaghi’s researched images of his country’s past capture only hints of the repression commonplace under Ceausescu. His paintings show the hulking ghosts of Communism. Yet his works seem to be hopeful, they suggest that his society is at the edge of something that will be very different, but what that will be is uncertain.
Silaghi attended Cluj Napoca University of Art and Design in Transylvania, Romania. The school has garnered tremendous recognition in recent years due to the success of graduates such as Adrian Ghenie, Serban Savu, and Marius Bercea. A decade and a half younger, Silaghi has no memory of life during Communist rule referenced in the pensive figurative paintings of the older generation. Silaghi has emblazoned his images of industry with bold chromatic gestures, creating fluid abstract patterns more aligned with Western art than with Eastern Europe.

Ray Smith
Painter and sculptor Ray Smith was born in Brownsville, Texas in 1959, on lands that his family had settled in the early 19th century. He studied fresco painting with traditional craftsmen in Mexico, attended art academies in Mexico and the United States, and settled in Mexico City. Since 1985, he has divided his time between New York and Cuernavaca, Mexico.
Smith’s work is characterized by a unique kind of magical realism. He bends, twists, and transplants, creating illogical scenarios that are full of surprises and special effects. The artist often uses dogs and animals as anthropomorphic beings. “They are an entity of the human figure,” says Smith. “They are beasts, but they are directly attached to a blueprint of our own existence.”
Smith’s work has been widely exhibited in the United States and Mexico, as well as in Japan, Europe, and South America. He exhibited in the 1989 Biennial Exhibition at the Whitney Museum of American Art, New York City; the First Triennial of Drawings at the Joan Miro Foundation in Barcelona, Spain; and “Latin American Artists of the 20th Century,” an exhibition that traveled from Seville, Spain to the Musee National d’Art Moderne at the Pompidou Center in Paris, France; the Kunsthalle, Cologne, Germany; and the Museum of Modern Art, New York City. During the last two decades, Smith has had 50 one-man exhibitions. Smith’s paintings are in the collections of the Whitney Museum of American Art; Brooklyn Museum of Art; and Metropolitan Museum of Art, all in New York City; High Museum of Contemporary Art, Atlanta, Georgia; Houston Museum of Contemporary Art, Texas; Miami Art Museum, Florida; Wurth Museum, Kunzelman, Germany; Centro Cultural de Arte Contemporaneo, Mexico City; and Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofia, Madrid, Spain.

Jessica Stockholder
Jessica Stockholder was born in Seattle in 1959 and grew up in Vancouver. She received her B.F.A. from the University of Victoria, British Columbia, and received an M.F.A. from Yale University, New Haven, Connecticut in 1985. Stockholder is a pioneer of multimedia, genre-bending installations that have become a
prominent language in contemporary art. Stockholder’s complex works incorporate the architecture in which they have been conceived, blanketing the floor, scaling walls and ceiling, and even spilling out of windows, through doors and into the surrounding landscape. Stockholder’s installations, sculptures and collages affirm the primacy of pleasure, the blunt reality of things and the rich heterogeneity of life. Her work has been exhibited at The Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum, the Dia Center for the Arts, New York; the Whitney Museum of American Art, New York; P.S. 1, New York; SITE Santa Fe; the Venice Biennale; the Kunstmuseum St. Gallen, Switzerland; and the Centre Pompidou, Paris. Randi Kristin Strand
Randi Kristin Strand, born 1959 in Valdres, Norway, studied graphic design in Oslo, founded the design company Blanke Ark i 1989, but now she only works as an artist.The last six years she have regularly traveled from Oslo to New York to get inspiration, she also had a show at a gallery in Chelsea. She isinterested in the human body in motion and in capturing the atmosphere of the vibrant New York street life and the contemporary urban life in this fast-paced city. Personal experiences, impressions and observation from a street corner, a Sunday in Harlem, subway, cafes and parks – these are momentsshe like to catch with her camera and then process on canvas with acrylic paint. In 2013 she travelled to New York and followed the footsteps of Simon & Garfunkel – by visualizing the CD collection „Tales of New York“. The text elements are an integral part of the visual expression she is used to as a graphic designer. Music plays an important role when she paint. Christian Vincent
Los Angeles based artist Christian Vincent is not concerned with mastering anatomical expertise but rather with conveying a polemical undertone, and intentionally leaves the works in contentious balance, overlapping political propaganda and Pop culture. His figures, larger than human size, are turned into monumental objects that intimidate, demand attention, and inspire awe. The paint is thick but flat, since Vincent carefully sands down the remnants of his brushwork, symbolically removing his fingerprints from the works and allowing them to exist autonomously. Much akin to early to mid-twentieth century mass-printed wartime propaganda, the identity of the artist is usurped by the message of unity, solidarity and conformity.

Guenter A. Werners œuvre shows a longstanding preoccupation with the idea of an abstract painting as a three-dimensional object. Even in pieces with a flat surface this becomes apparent. Currently the artist works on opaque acrylic glass to which he assembles plain and deformed `colorskins´. He uses a translucent epoxy resin paint, achieving impressive colors. Compositions with the easiness of sketches arise.
Werner´s unique abstract paintings create moments of special intensity and refer to the mystery and inconceivability of existence.
The artist has shown widely in Germany, Austria , Poland and USA (New York). He lives and works near Frankfurt/Germany.

ERIC ROSS WILEY, b.1988 Eric Wiley was born in Ft. Colins, CO, raised the son of a computer engineer in the suburbs of Boise, ID, was then transplanted into Brooklyn, NY where he was educated at Pratt Institute and currently lives and works to support himself as a part-time freelance graphic designer. His most-special inner treasures are his memories of weeks spent within the deep mountains of the Payette National Forest while working as a member of the Weiser trail crew. Do mountain yogi shangri-la's actually exist? Most recently he played through System Shock 2 for the first time and purchased Conker's Bad Fur Day for the N64. Together, with friends, far-away family members and co-workers, Eric, devout atheist, awaits first contact with extra-terrestrials, the development of artificial intelligence, interstellar transportation, and, finally, entrance into the forthcoming virtual oblivion.
