Sandra DeSando

My artwork flows freely onto panel boards and paper. I have spent decades devoted to the study of the beauty, destruction, and the sacredness of the land. My artwork is about being invited by the trees to have conversation about how the world began. In my stay at ESKFF Heidi Curko and I are working in collaboration. Our lives changed at the beginning of Covid 19. The isolation and stress impaired our art making process. We intend to reconstitute that part of us that frees our being to become whole again.
