Presents Mixing Medias: 2015

The Carole A. Feuerman Sculpture Foundation presents Mixing Medias: 2015, an exhibition of mid-career artists working in a variety of ways.

Mixing Medias: 2015 will be held at Mana Contemporary, 888 Newark Avenue, Jersey City, Room 488, from December 12, 2015 – January 31, 2016.

A Collectors and Press coffee hour will take place at 11:00 A.M. on December 12, 2015, at Carole Feuerman Studios (28 West 27th Street, Room 488, New York, NY 1001). Followed by a Collectors and Press Opening Party at Mana Contemporary at 1:00 P.M.

There will be more refreshments at Mana in their fourth Floor café. Transportation will be provided for collectors and press. A bus will pick up collectors and press at Noon from the New York studio to take them to Mana Contemporary. The bus will take collectors back to the city at 2:00 PM and to pick up visitors making a second trip. The bus will leave promptly at 6:00 PM to return to NYC. The Exhibition will be open to the public at 3:00 P.M.

Mixing Medias: 2015 provides artists the opportunity to collaborate with other creative individuals while gaining publicity and exposure. It provides a space for artists, as well as possibilities for collectors, and a place for community discussion. Curators and art historians will be invited to view their work. There will be a catalogue made of the exhibiting artists. Financial grants are being funded by the Carole A. Feuerman Sculpture Foundation, the Eileen S. Kaminsky Family Foundation (ESKFF), and Mana Contemporary Art Foundations. Thanks to the generosity of all three foundations, artists will be able to interact with major collectors, curators, galleries, and cultural institutions.

Mana Contemporary, a renovated 1920s tobacco factory provides the backdrop for the exhibition, www.manafinearts.com. Founded in 2011 Mana Contemporary has become an art destination and one of the most innovative, inspiring, and progressive organizations in the United States. Artists specializing in an array of mediums including, painting, sculpture, photography, dance, film, and art are all under one roof, forming a collaborative and inspiring environment. Carole Feuerman is prominently featured at Mana Contemporary where she occupies a studio space on the fourth floor.

The Carole A. Feuerman Sculpture Foundation was formed in 2011 in order to generate excitement, interest, and passion for the arts and to inspire and reward deserving artists with exhibition opportunities, visibility, and financial grants. Furthermore, the foundation promotes the exchange of creative expression and strives to support mid-career artists whom contribute a new energy to the artistic community.
